IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Agency Closure

Partners for Community Access (PCA), a community based non-profit, has been in existence since 1993 with the mission to enhance access to healthcare and social services regardless of ability to pay, by providing a partnership to develop and implement collaborative systems and programs that benefit all. After fifteen years of service, PCA will be closing the agency. Our anticipated closure date for services and programs will be June 15, 2008. A future announcement regarding the referral of our “Cancer-Care” program will be sent out.

Since its inception, PCA has been honored to serve San Diego County (SDC) by addressing many needs of the community and coordinating a number of programs that have served seniors, youth and individuals living with cancer. In 2000, PCA was recognized with the “Maternal and Child Award for Outstanding Services” by the California Center for Collaborative Planning. In 2004, PCA was designated as one of only 27 Combined Health Agencies within United Way, dedicated to providing community services, public and professional education and funding support research to SDC residents.

PCA would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all community collaborators and financial supporters that allowed the array of benefits of the agency’s programs to extend to our clients and their families.
